carnage

you speak of hatred
(you blow my mind)
peace on earth
we've yet to find
christians, muslims
pagans, jews
their bloody corpses
make the news
birds turn into
fighter planes
helpless children
rue their gains
love and peace
have met their match
cruel dictators~
lives they snatch
rape and murder
drugs and guns
you are not safe
not even nuns
holy wars
justify this carnage
reality is
we're simple garbage
evil sickness
rules the earth
and condemns
each single birth
a dawn of red
is in our future
please, someone
I need a suture
to bandage the rage
I feel within
I despise the horror
our world is in 01/26/2004 Author's Note: i watched the movie "Red Dawn" (1984) this past weekend... i am growing ever incensed over the evil and atrocities of the world we live in... the poem i wish to write is much more angry and bloody over the pain the world sees at the hands of evil people, but this will do for today... maybe tomorrow... i just don't get it...

Well, this earth is ruled by the ANTS guided by the propounders of the common belief system where whats common is normal. Thus the ANTS shall follow ANTS. Because thats common hence normal. The dividing lines shall remain. The 'holy war' will keep on justifying carnage. Staright and to the point, your poem. My reaction.
