Willaby

by Charles E Minshall

Willaby the bee
Is as goofy as a bee can be,
He walks from flower to flower
Or from tree to tree.

For Willaby
Flying is not to be,
He's a down to earth
Kind of a bee.

If you are out today
Take a look at the ground,
You might see Willaby
Walking around.

Author's Note: Inspired by a bumblebee walking on my driveway.

Bee careful where ya' step! (chuckle) - The Buddhist monks, ever reverent of all life, wear anklets with little bells to warn away any insects that may be in their path...I'll see if I can't get you pair for next Xmas! - RCat

Hi Charles, Good one, Willaby. Cute and very clever. Yeah, we'll have to watch our steps. Yes, but he sure can put a big sting to ya too.
