(rewrite) third party thought for sanity. by Andrew S Adamswill you tell me who i am?
go ahead. i'll still cry 'liar'
through to the apocalypse.
i enigmate myself to disguise this reality
if not myself, who could know me?
my threads will unravel, you know this.
i will collapse into your waiting arms,
defeated by an army of myself,
surrendering to the truth-
that you are my captor.
i could not possibly comprehend myself,
but you glance briefly, and tell me
the truth that i would otherwise
be blinded to.
why is it you?
it's love. so what?
this gives you no right to
understand my existence before your own;
just know that this revelation
is crushing. 01/18/2004 Author's Note: a rewrite of one of my most popular pieces, "(i hate) to hear it from you"... yep. ::blinks::
