Greedy Girl

by Heide McAlister-Bates

A single droplet of

sweet

warm

musk

clings to the tip of
my tongue
as I retreat
from my
feast.

You -

panting

wide-eyed

clinging to the linens

like a lifeline.

Me?
Going back for my just desserts.

mmm sexy and clever, you capture the intensity & feeling of that scene directly

Very nicely done. The non-traditional spelling in the last line creates a terrific double meaning.
