I owe you by Michele SchottelkorbI owe you
(for every time you smile at me, when you feel like scowling)
I owe you
(for cracking all your silly jokes, even when Im frowning)
I owe you
(for saying that Im beautiful, even when Im screaming)
I owe you
(for planting a kiss on my nose, even when Im seething)
I owe you
(for every treasure that I own, even though Im selfish)
I owe you
(for setting all my wrongs right, even when Im foolish)
I owe you
(for all these things and countless, endless more)
I owe you, till the day I die
And beyond the golden door

Posted by Ashok Sharda on 01/05/04 at 04:04 PM 'I owe you', reflects a positive approach of a sensitive person full of understanding. The world would definitely be a nice place to live upon if every individual can have this kind of an approach to life and others. This piece speaks more of the author than of the subject. |
