Undertones massage his senses,
as he is swept away into the ocean of
bodies, swaying gently and rocking with
the wind on the sea.

About his shoulders, sea gulls cry,
singing their songs of ships on the harbor,
and midnight storm passings.

Firedancing shadows linger near, playing
charades with the characters caught in
the moment of time.

An overlapping eternity in a mere,
few minutes of breath, within the blinks,
of his eyes forward.
