A Personal Universe by Karl WaldbauerPast the blazing star trails,
beyond the comet dust
I searched.
Through Saturns regal rings,
crossing Plutos icy path
I searched.
On my blue home planet
among the soaring pines
I searched for you.
Across the raging seas,
in lush fertile valleys
I searched for you.
I saw galaxies, so many moons,
felt radiation, then killing cold
when I reached for you
across my personal
universe.
