Often, I get the impression
that the world
is just one big piece of gravity
trying to keep us down.
and we call the sane ones who keep their
feet level with the earth,
who can stand up when they get
suckerpunched and float before
they c o l l i d e with their destination.
yet, we always have these pressures-
our government to rebel against,
our parents to hate,
our life to cry about.

all of it keeping us down,
it's just the world.
it's just the gravity.
