Cocktail dress

by Richard Trotter

The sight of its black
is a crystal on a dreaming string
supersonic thoughts of the fabric
have arrived before the light.

Pearls in the gloom of morning
impossibly near me and healing
you dance in every spotlight
seduce me with amulet limbs.

Now weak, I am captive
touching a void of silk
our bleak lips shiver,
crying as the snow falls.

Well, I don't have a "before" with pathetic, so all your work will be a first for me. I love this!

Highly innovative and tangy word combos make for an exciting construction and read here Richard.
