moon tanka

by Maureen Glaude

the night's gibbous moon
giving us
a closing moment
three poets
stared upward

what kind of moment? what does it make you think? it's a lovely still image talking of a still image.. it needs some observation within the observation

Ditto on Bonnie's comment, only by this morning it was full as compared to gibbous. In regards to your tanka, now the question is how does one top perfection...maybe with only more perfection?!

Nothing like the moon to get the poet's juices flowing... and three of them, well, what else could be expected!

Wonder and awe suggested here!
