adrenaline by Jessica Yena jolt
of electricity
connects two
adjacent neurons.
a rush
of boiling blood
circulates around
these capillaries.
a fever
of throbbing heat
encapsulates everything
inside the skin.
a thrill
of excitement
runs chills
down the spinal cord.
a jolt--
a rush--
a fever--
a thrill--
you are my adrenaline. 12/01/2003 Posted on 12/01/2003 Copyright © 2025 Jessica Yen
