adrenaline

by Jessica Yen

a jolt
of electricity
connects two
adjacent neurons.

a rush
of boiling blood
circulates around
these capillaries.

a fever
of throbbing heat
encapsulates everything
inside the skin.

a thrill
of excitement
runs chills
down the spinal cord.

a jolt--
a rush--
a fever--
a thrill--

you are my adrenaline.

I love adrenaline...and your comparing it to love...sweet.

Congrats on POTD. I like the structure of this very much, no wasted words, the key words ignite thought, and all lead to a strong finish.
