Illusions II

by Maureen Glaude

cumulous and stratus swelled
heavy from
your calligraphy

I knew the paper would weep
from the absorption
pages of your perfect poetics
dancing the diameter of the distance
across the sky
between us

Excellent...short and punchy...not a word wasted. I like this even better than the first one.
