Posted by Glenn Currier on 03/21/04 at 04:33 AM Oh, man, how this pulls the heart strings! Beautifully worded and rhymed and the images bring back so many childhood experiences of being in old homes with my old aunts and great aunts. Maybe I was more lost than they in their world at the time. Your poem seems to resonate from my past somehow. Thanks. This goes on my favorites list. |
Posted by Rhodora M Fitzgerald on 04/02/04 at 01:50 AM I have a soft spot for poems about angels, and this one was superbly written! I loved the rhyme and flow of this piece! Nicely done! |
Posted by Alison McKenzie on 04/05/04 at 12:44 AM They can be helped, those lost in the in between spirits. And I agree with Wendy...maybe it's us that keeps them here. At any rate, a touching look at those souls. Thank you! |
