Moonsong

by Kimberly Bare

sweet melody plays
drifting on night waves

weaving its way to my heart

your powerful stance
across the expanse
of cerulean sky is enchanting

sing me your moonsong
bathe me with your light
sing me your moonsong
across the darkened night

rising in silver perfection
casting your sheen of protection

regally as a queen
you continue to sing

your lilting melody

oh~
sing me your moonsong
bathe me with your light
sing me your moonsong
across the darkened night

There's definitely something about the moon tonight! I'm not accustomed to agreeing with people generally, but I can't avoid it here :>]. A beautifully melodious lunar skyscape...

Creamy smooth melody and lyrics lends to easy singing this in the mind. Thanks for the moon tan Kim!

Warming, stunning imagery - as many have already said, this would be a beautiful song. You have painted a vivid moving picuture with only a few brush strokes *rising in silver perfection casting your sheen of protection* Awesome! The melody and flow is enhanced by your soft, flowing, and brilliant choice of words
