Zephyrs by Siri LipscombZephyrs, yon xhiliarating
Winds, vaunting upon tender
Spring remnants quietly
Pruning only now ‘midst
Light kempt juniper in high ground
Fractal energy
Drowning cacophony
Beyond alliteration
~ Siri 11/08/2003 Author's Note: Who coined zyxedarian, anyway?

Posted by Quinlan L Gibson on 11/11/03 at 05:45 PM it's funny this takes me back to when my family used to make me say the alphabet backwards, i say it faster than forwards...nice job. |
Posted by Max Bouillet on 11/12/03 at 05:31 PM I don't remember who coined the phrase, but you def helped perfect it. Excellent verse. |
Posted by JD Clay on 02/01/04 at 12:06 AM Whew! This one wafts like one of those silent but deadly whodunnit's. It's very satisfying, and sounds best if read with a squint while pointing at the dog. All kidding aside, I love your poem, and please correct me if I'm wrong but I think it was Mr. Abeceder who invented this form.
