A Collision with Division

by Thomas K. Hunt

A collision with division
Divided by wants and needs
Days lay littered with decisions
They seem to grow like weeds

There'’s a fine line between fate and choices
Never forget a face
Try to recapture the voices
Before they echo forever into space

A collision with division
Divided by you and me
But only one made the decision
Only one wanted to be free

She made it look so painless
With ease she just left one day
And with her sudden transgress
She blew my mind away

A collision with division
Divided by love and pain
Searching the meaning of the decision
Is ones loss truly another’s gain?

A great line "A collision with division". The lines flow beautifully and capture the pain well. Great work.

What a beautifully exquisite image of loss and helplessness. Imagine what this can now invite into your life. I look forward to the next chapter. ;o) ~ S

Really interesting way of describing a breakup...collision with division like it suddenly hit you that shes gone. funny how emotions can do that.

A clever spinning of mathmatics into the emotions of relationship... seemingly opposite realities. You have given heart to a mind-formed discipline. I like the contrast and unexpected parallel.

I like the way you blend relationships and mathmatics... the way that life blends all things.
