A Pumpkin Named Jack by Anne EngelenThere once was a pumpkin named Jack
Who came to Belgium, then wouldnt go back
The chocolates and sweets
Were the tricks and the treats
He loved it and thought What the heck
10/13/2003 Author's Note: Just had to add a little Belgian touch! Halloween seems to become more and more popular in Belgium. Not even four years ago hardly anyone had notice of Halloween, except from what was showed in American movies.

Posted by Karl Waldbauer on 10/19/03 at 05:20 AM So, how is the pumpkin market in Belgium? You might be able to carve your place in Belgium's history as the Jack-o-Lantern Queen! Great poem, Anne. |

Posted by Charles E Minshall on 10/21/03 at 05:33 AM Fun limerick Annie. Halloween is getting to be
a larger event here also, with orange lights on
the houses and front yard displays of all kinds.
We have halloween stores all over the place. After
halloween they close up....Charlie |
