topic: unicorn on acid

by Rachelle Howe

you bled from your eyes
those crystal shards of snorted apathy.
i had held you in, kept you in your place
those glass pained needles.
you broke free, through the chains,
to cut me up and digest

one more line.

just look at the stars, man,
those rainbow shapes and tremors.
look at the way they fly,
it's like a unicorn on acid.

i wiped my brow, the sweat
pouring through the orifice.

i had
strapped you into your
drugged electric chair
and flipped the switch.

Author's Note: KIM DECINA. you are positively the most awful person i know, making me write this... thing. however, i hope you all enjoy the drug trip. come again. oh, and a HUGE thank you to gabe ricard. um, this piece actually is sorta' a foreshadowing of one that he and i are working on, though i didn't realize it until i had written it. can't wait to finish, gabe! moohahaha.
