To My Love

by Adrian Calhoun

My dear,
this very well could be
our last sunset together.
We've no way of knowing,
God does not promise a tomorrow.

So take my hands and sit with me.
Let us gaze with affection
into each others eyes.

I cannot fully explain how I feel,
you are irresistable to me.
Totally alluring, appealing,
and I am madly in love with you.

Satan tempted Eve with an apple.
She in turn tempted Adam.

Perhaps you are my 'Eve,'
in this, our garden of Eden.
The apple of my eye.

*S* I would be honoured to be your Eve. Although sometimes you are the serpent, it is the gesture , like this one, that makes me love you even more. I do not know what else to say as I have never been loved before in the way that you love me. I love the wording and imagery. Beautiful in my eyes. Once again Mr. C you have left me speechless. Forever & Always, Mrs. C XOXOXO

An afterthought, If there were no more tomorrows, I would be perfectly happy yo spend my eternity with you. "I want to live to be your age minus one day so that I would never have to live without you." (quote from Winnie the Pooh} Forever, your Singed Angel :)

Ahh so sweet and tender. And she better be your Eve (a one who makes better choices). Hold her close indeed, Adrian. She is a very special lady.

*awwww* How sweet! I got a little misty eyed, I must admit. Beautifully written, Adrian. You are quite a guy & I know I'm right, Michelle agrees! LOL
