Abandoned

It tires me to care.
My soul is fading away,
Things dont feel the same.
Compassion is lost on me,
My world has turned to ice.
There are no shades of gray,
Everything has faded.
I have lost my voice,
Everyone talks but no one listens.
I have lost my heart,

| Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 04/29/13 at 12:43 PM when all is said and done only love bides us sufficiently to make our way in this world which has most certainly lost its power of listening. as far as lost hearts are concerned, only requited love can locate such a misplaced heart and set it anew in its proper perspective and setting. |
