if only he could have stayed comatose forever... by Olivia Weinkeini was a lonely man's dream
until he woke up.
now he no longer has any excuses left
and i only have a tattoo of a name
of a person i never really knew.
(nevermind that it's my own, nevermind..)
i wish i could claim that something or other
made this worth it. but the only something
or other i can think of is miles away from me
dreaming up yet another scenerio to fit himself
into.
and i wasn't afraid until i stopped screaming.
i wasn't afraid until he bursted my bubble.
i really don't like being a lonely man's dream
unless of course,
he never wakes up.
then,
i could dance like that forever.

| Posted by Travis G Finborg on 09/20/03 at 02:03 PM to think that your whole existence is someone else's dream is a very cool idea to me. But then you have to think if the people you dream about are thinking the same thing... |
| Posted by Jeffrey Parren on 06/14/07 at 11:44 PM unfortunately dreams aren't quite neverending as we wish they could be. i like the familiarity to the reader that "(nevermind that it's my own, nevermind..)" conveyed. made me feel like we were great friends...~JPP
