breeds hatred in this shell
just a small little slight
plummets us straight to hell
a nasty look, a blatant stare
can erupt an earthquake here
mindfully the callous shred
~internally the masses tear
one small smile can mend the rip
and send chaos on its way
until the petty trivialities
begin a different day
Author's Note: this is about my work... but, upon second look, i can relate it to my house and other places... can you?

It makes me think of the saying 'familiarity breeds contempt.' An excellent bit of poetry, very much captures that sense of day to day annoyance with situations/people/things.

Well, the negative vibrations associated with negative associations are capable of turning the shell into hell. On the contrary,'one small smile can mend the rip
and send chaos on its way'
You said this beautiful.

with your word brush placed tactifully so, you've created an absolutely irresistible scenario here. one I think, in which we can all relate.
