one perfect moment

by Kimberly Bare

once i knew a moment of complete and wondrous joy
i was happy and languid in that happiness

no thought of future moments impeded on that feeling, nor of past mistakes
time took on no meaning as i let myself relax and melt into that moment of
perfection

no thought of gain or loss
no thought of explanations or excuses
no deadlines
no urgency

only being

buoyant on the waves of life
this moment carries me through the storms i may encounter

and that is enough

Rare and to be treasured are such moments for us all, Kimberly. Magnificent capture of one small but universal aspect of the human condition. Wish I had writeen this...glad you did. Kudos!

Yes, thats enough. A moment in the space of time, when the world stops for a while and the moment starts stretching.
