Poetry is the music of ones mind
liquid words that flow from
crystal feelings
words spoken from the heart
memories held by the soul
felt in the deepest way
flowing forth from a place well hidden from the mortal eye
falling down like teardrops from the tortured skies
held prisoner by a lonely world
only to be free
when read by one that
hears with their heart and
listens with their soul.
