Sunset Pass by Brian FrancisIn evenings early twilight,
when colors dance above;
lovers hold to each other
a romantic embrace of love
From the edges of the canyon
over-looking the valley floor,
couples share, impassioned there,
the threshold of midnight’s door.
As the last few rays of sunlight
ease slowly up the canyon wall
hearts join together in rhythm,
beating as one, in loves enthrall
