Forceful Abyss by Jacki M ButlerWhat is it about the water
Its ever steady presence
Its abyssful solemnity
The breeze that always seems to roll off
Faint lapping of waves on the shoreline
What is it that draws me here
When I am lonely or blue
It's like a huge hand urging me forward
Toward the stone wall
Toward the quiet
So that I may find peace in my solitude. 08/28/2003 Posted on 08/28/2003 Copyright © 2024 Jacki M Butler
