myself

by Melinda Sordino

a ballerina on the stage

trapped inside a golden cage

you are the one to hold the key

and only you may set me free

you mend my weak and broken wings

with love and words that angels sing

and aided by your undying love

i can fly high above

myself.

Be true to yourself. I for one am not an expert of the heart, but I remember putting to much trust in the heart. It only leads to chaos and sadness. Heal yourself do not let others do it for you.

Perfectly orchestrated, like a minuet set to verse. Good stuff, Melinda. Peace...
