Don’t you ever get tired.......

by Leslie Ann Eisenberg

Gliding on the assembly line
with the other drones
Your petri dish face is jellied doom
termites creep and chew
permanent fingertip impressions

Smarty pants,
your smarmy mouth begging for a slap,
bathe in the dress of epiphany

You are nothing,

but a screaming wound,
Swallowed
by the cheap-ass washer
at the local Laundromat

Fooled you, sucker

Quite the brain teasing connect the dots exercise here. I like how you defy the dehumanizing nature of the factory as noted in that last line.

All excellent points previously commented on, so I'll just smile and say that it was enjoyed once again. :)
