I Miss My Indiglo Watch by Charles J HannanDid anybody ever really use the light?
I mean
It didn't matter to me
What time it was
At night
I just knew it was dark
Pitch black and never caring
Time was only cared about during working hours
Nothing more
No destiny
Alcohol induced reflections
On a watchface
Staring at me
Back at me...
I didn't realize time was an issue
The world is spinning gobs of it
And there
Staring at my wrist
I missed the boat
All the things I could have been
In that time
In that indiglo time 08/17/2003 Posted on 08/17/2003 Copyright © 2025 Charles J Hannan
