cosmic revelation in a slit wrist

by Cymbre Dolphay

Fire tempered steel dancing dangerously
About a pair of slender hands
Hands that should be nowhere near
Blades sharp as the tongue of winter

Twirling into infinity without thought
A reaction to the dullness
Of the skin resisting the knife
Pressure against a vein refusing to break

Light of guidance is burning low
Combating the tides of time warps
Taxing the cosmos of their soul
Future events manipulating the past

Preset alarm clock of fate
Hands swimming in a mind of black
Suspicion, deceit, agony, stubbornness
Press the edge closer to the flow

Release that which shall heal the end
Tonic of life waltzing to the tune of death
Duet and duel of the destruction
Brushing against human flesh

Author's Note: I was in a meditative trance of sorts. The music was getting to my mind I guess.

Love the title, and some great lines throughout. I especially like this one: Blades sharp as the tongue of winter
