rose garden of thorns by Michele Schottelkorba rose garden of thorns
here is where I sit
a funeral of sores
can you picture it?
surrounded by pain
encircled by love
I scrub at the stain
my heart a black dove
a child plays alone
a young one cries
a wise one is prone
to tears in his eyes
where did the turn
twist for the worse?
how did my world
exploded with a burst?
what can I do?
what can I say?
to make this hole
just go away?

It's very good. Yet kinda sad. Full of emotions. I guess a one time or another we all have days like that. Without giving up. There's Hope and Faith. Prayers too. |
