Thanks for the Laughs Bob! (acrostic)

by David R Spellman

Better than any medicine,
Our own comic band-aid
Bestowed with such a gift

Had us splitting our seams
Often in such perilous times
Played on the stage of life;
Even then he gave usÂ… hope

Thanks Bob!

A great tribute. I think Bob Hope would have especially liked that last line! Very clever and true. Thank you for saying it for us David.

Anything clever here would be to upstage a master. Your fitting verse pays homage to a legend. One word left: Peace...

Very nice, and light-hearted. Bob Hope, we will miss you. He was comic legend.

I love this! He did didn't he? He is one of the few entertainers I had the privelage to see in person and I don't think I will ever forget it. Thanks David...

Yup, we'll miss him here in Canada also. I remember as a kid watching his USO tours on TV. Bob may be gone, but we still have his movies, many of which I'm due to see again. Thanks for remembering him so eloqunetly. :o)
