a new color

by Indigo Tempesta

i know there are beautiful people out there;
you are them,
you must be: i see you
so beautiful
in your calling out. so beatific;
i am lonely for you.
my soul is quavering
in and out
         lonely
you you
   all         every-
 one
of you
is   making me feel alive
my soul calling out to you
glistening shining with the desire to be mended with beauty
as only can be done by beauty
seeking a key
of which i know nothing
of which i am ignorant as a newborn
in the face of which i quail and do nothing
but [with every fiber of my being]
yearn.

Author's Note: this is true, truer than i have maybe ever written; and yet, not enough so.

the truth and desire of this is deep. Beautiful

so honest and open.. i know i've felt this way too at times, plaintively yearning for those beautiful ones to "people my solitude", as Baudelaire said, but wanting it for real

Very beautiful, I think most humans feel this way some time.

Passionate words filled with emotion. The imagery and structure truly enhance this poem.
