dandelion baby

by Michele Schottelkorb

precious baby plays with dandelions
makes apple pies from mud
what an irony of life
golden locks, loving blue eyes
tries to understand
this adult world
she has been subjected to
just craves love, and maybe a room
precious little one, i’ll try harder…

I love dandelions and indeed they thrive all along the wilden path and are in harmony with such that see them for the beauty they really are and not weed.
