a dimlight contradiction by Andrew S Adamsas shadowed figures emerge from the darkness,
a spark shower cries out to its mistress,
hopefully in dismay that no other light will invade
on it's so feverishly coveted holdings.

asiles, casting a coma of sleeplessness over
all the world, dutifully fulfilling
this wish, perfectly, complacently-

sheilding myself as an impenitrable darkness.
safeguarding from the world, safeguarding from
hope.

and the shadows are slowly learning
to betray their place.

yet you inspire it's opposite,
making my emotions all the more confused 06/29/2003 Posted on 06/29/2003 Copyright © 2025 Andrew S Adams
