Patience by Adrian CalhounCaught up in the whirlwind,
waiting for the dawn to break.
Been a long night sitting alone
wondering what it's all for.
Sometimes life treats you right,
other times it kicks your butt.
I don't know for sure what happens next,
but I know exactly what I want.
Once the sun hits the sky,
I can't tell you where i'll be,
but you can be sure your with me.
In my heart, in my thoughts,
in every breath I inhale.
Not sure why we can't be this close
in our everyday lives.
I don't know when, I don't know how,
but it will happen.
One day we will come together,
and our lives will be as one. 06/29/2003 Posted on 06/29/2003 Copyright © 2024 Adrian Calhoun

other times it kicks your butt.

It's beautiful, kinda sad. Your right sometimes it kicks ya in the butt. But ya learn from it too. Right? Hoping it's not sure a rough lesson learnt. Peace & Joy, Jean |
