Elusive

by Adrian Calhoun

In love with a woman,
the kind that makes your heart stop.
She isn't even smiling,
yet I know she is happy.
Her eyes keep drawing me in,
like a moth to the flame.
Golden hair enticed me,
gentleman prefer blondes afterall.

I am like a fly caught in a web,
nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
All I can do is sit and wait
for the final decision to come.
Inch by inch, minute by minute,
closer we become.

Impatiently I wait,
in love with a woman,
but for her it's worth it.

Keeping a bit of mystery in one's love life is essential to keeping the marriage fresh and alive! Your little woman is worth it. Tenderly delivered love song to the one you love!

That last stanza says it all so realistically and beautifully. Good luck my friend!
