caused in a moment of fevered panic,
ripping apart an ideaology suddenly beckons to cooler heads.
a quiet chaos is brewing, apart from
organized anarchy and conformed rebellion.
of course, we are all a marketing scheme
and that four-letter 'p' word is just a
demographic, waiting to be exploited and
alienated to a further end.
and from thus, a larger term,
starting with 'p' and consisting of
five- count em- five letters,
is borne from the mouths of
the biggest posers of them all.

and somewhere just now,
a hot topic has sold out of
tubesocks with pre-cut thumb-holes.

you tell me that there is no cause for panic,
and i say there is a time for outright war.

neither of us are right,
for by fighting, we have lost.
but for panic, we have subtly called ourselves
to arms, a precurser to this imminent attack.
