an ear-splitting sonnet will wake me up
but how long will you hold the note on my head
how long will this take to dry out?
any given morning, on monday will do
is like hearing a scream, over and over
'well, good morning to you too!'
and i Hit you. I beat you sensless.
Dont you EVER talk to me like that again.
I control you, now go lie there, constant
reminders that i am late, you
have become all i hate.
and every morning i will wake up,
hearing your scream. get me from here
to there, in grudging fashion.

the next time you scream, i will silence you
forever.

and imagine, you're just an alarm clock.
