explorer

by John Ilotan

I get lost in you
exploring the depths of a celestial sea
I am Magellan without a compass
searching the pacific
for a storm to ride
unraveling like a string of stars
pulled from the fabric
of the night sky
then set free to dissolve
in tempestuous
saline waves
crashing over me

I was trying to pick out my favorite line to highlight but I can't. Each line is exceptional.
