Cumulonimbus

by Cymbre Dolphay

What nameless god has woke thee
from your ageless slumber
and ordained your wrath upon
those who have shown you no wrong
but only the greatest of piety

the winds flee in immortal terror
screaming a futile warning
to those who must endure
your anger and vengeance
and weather this raging storm

what the gods have set in motion
is not easily set aside
the skies shall war upon themselves
and the creatures of earth
shall respect the heavensÂ’ fury

So much grandeur made me feel small and insignificant... well crafted.

Cymbre, I enjoyed reading this. I've gotten interested in different forms of clouds and just what they mean. Good work!
