Splendid sunset spectrum

As a furious fire
Enveloped the cotton white clouds
The scorched sky
Slowly and sensuously turned
From beautiful blue
To a deep perfect purple
To blink of the eye black

Excellent alliteration... vivid and hints of how fast time passes. Well done.
