Broken Heart

Warm tears run down my cheeks
How could You do this to me?
I told You I'd always love you
But, Somehow, I'm broken hearted again
I hate this
p a i n
This unwanted
t o r t u r e
It keeps coming back
It seems so unfair,
I feel so alone
Like I'm just there.
An unexisting creature
A link in a chain
When I start to feel better
I feel it again.
I remember the times
We could talk for forever
No one would care
It was a part of my life
And now, its not there
You were my
b e s t f r i e n d
You were my
c o m p a n i o n
I would go to you
No matter the situation
You listened to me
You were the one that made me see
The brighter days
The brighter times.
But what can I do,
When the only person that can make me stop
c r y i n g

Author's Note: Some of you might have read the first version of this...it was awful...So I re wrote it...and hopefully I made it alot better

Just read your poem. It's very good, emotional, sad too. It's hard to lose someone you love. Been thru it. It takes time. Ya learn to get over them, pick up the pueces & continue on with live. Life goes on. Love isn't always easy. Peace be with ya. Peace & Joy, Jean. |
