Plaid Flowers

by Charles J Hannan

Invoking me
Far from where I lie
Living lives
So different
Distant dreams
Of meadows flowing
Cherry blossom kisses
A subtle breeze
Blowing
Reaching out
I carve your name
In cotton candy clouds
As the sun
Drenches me
In pools of warmth
Like your touch
A song
Sweetly sung by angels
Divine
My body rests
In a field of plaid flowers
My mind in tune
With you

Sentimental, tender, romantic. Brings a smile. Very pleasant read.

This superb piece starts with a luring title and is backed up with a wonderfilled text. Nice work, Charles. Peace...

Really like how you project love through images which themselves have been projected by that same love. Plaid flowers...neat word combo...adds new meaning to psychadelic. :o)
