Creatures Under The Mower by Charles J HannanThey fling
They fly
Oh tell me why
Don't they just get out of the way
I know that I
Suprise a fly
With subtle
Flyswatter
But the sound a
Mower makes
Should be warning enough
The little snake
That sticks his head up
The frog that leaps too soon
Grasshopper LOOK OUT!
My mower has no brakes
Slinging tails
And legs
Out of the side
My oh my
Won't they run and hide?
They fling
They fly
Oh tell me why
Don't they just get out of the way 05/16/2003 Posted on 05/16/2003 Copyright © 2024 Charles J Hannan

Posted by Alex Smyth on 05/16/03 at 10:49 PM YES! Often wondered that myself. And if I am blood-guilty, since they certainly had warning! Very clever, enjoyed. |
