a Farewell
by Adrian CalhounNight has fallen,
the dense fog set in,
and the humidity is choking me.
So it appears,
on this moonless night,
that we have come to the end.
There are no more wild winds to ride,
pots of gold to find,
or wild blue yonders to chase after.
We have reached the other end,
the end of our rainbow. 05/14/2003 Author's Note: To and for an old childhood friend which time and life has seperated from me. We were the best of friends throughout our childhood. I had the pleasure of seeing him again after all these years at my sisters wedding, which brought back some great memories, and sadness for losing touch.
