No Better Wetter

by Charles E Minshall

When our weather was drier
And our forests on fire,
We prayed for the rains to come.

Now the water's
Up to our decks and floor,
The water's up to our necks and more.

Now that it's wetter
We find it no better,
But we dare not pray for sun.

LOL...that is definately the truth... We are never happy with what we have... we always want something different. Nicely done Charlie! ~Mel~

Seems we are never happy with the weather we get, eh? At least we can laugh and write about it like in this clever piece of yours though.

so we don't want wetter grass or dryer grass just some nice in-between grass in our backyard ;)

Yet somehow...somewhere wetter sounds better! Must be I'm used to all the rain ;)

HaHaHa! A smart person that can be careful what he asks for! Wish I were!

I suppose we are left to choose one extreme over the other, eh? Good stuff, pal. Peace...
