Green Grass

by Cole Miller

I used to be one to think
That the grass is always
Greener on the other side
Until I got there and I sadly
Found that the grass on the
Other side was just as green and
Had to be mowed just as much
As the grass had been on my side
And when I made the long trek
Back to my side I found that
Without me my grass had turned yellow

we may come back and find it yellow, but we still search for that greener patch....well written, I like it a lot

You're pretty good at these short poems. It clearly states something most of us have to learn from hard experience.

this is a great lesson to learn, that it takes the effort of two to make for grass to grow and two or more to make for life in general to be worthwhile.

the last two lines are amazing.
