Green Grass by Cole MillerI used to be one to think
That the grass is always
Greener on the other side
Until I got there and I sadly
Found that the grass on the
Other side was just as green and
Had to be mowed just as much
As the grass had been on my side
And when I made the long trek
Back to my side I found that
Without me my grass had turned yellow 06/21/2001 Author's Note: formely On The Other Side

Posted by Philip F De Pinto on 09/22/06 at 12:23 PM this is a great lesson to learn, that it takes the effort of two to make for grass to grow and two or more to make for life in general to be worthwhile. |
Posted by Melanie J Yarbrough on 06/26/07 at 02:07 PM the last two lines are amazing. |
