a walk with the breeze

by Andrew S Adams

dearest friend, i have
been so long out of touch.
dearest wind, i have been
seeking your warm caress
whenever you weren't so harsh.
this has been a lifetime
since i've felt your glory
cast upon me. given to me
coming through me,
walking with me.
the days of bitterness and feud
always creating burning cold.
yet the sun will shine today
and the glow will compliment you
as i wander aimlessly
through you, in you
with you, my gentle breeze.

Hi Andrew, I just read you poem. It's lovely. Very good. What a way to describe the wind, as gentle breezes. Peace & Joy, Jean.
