I commence writing on their untruths by Ashok Sharda
I commenced writing
On the so called evolution
Ending up, eventually
Writing on the culture
The savage within
Appeared as the real barrier
While my thoughts moved
On to the evolution.
I commenced writing
On the so called culture
Ending up, as it turned out
Writing on the value system
The essence within
Subdued my acquired person
While I gathered thoughts
On the culture.
I commenced writing
On the so called value system
Ending up, in the process
Projecting the untruths
The CROWD within
Was hazing my impressions
On the value system.
I do not have the courage
Now to assemble a poem
On the so called truths
Of their untruths
They will definitely KILL me
If I commence writing
On their TRUTHS
So, here I am
All set to commence
Writing a poem
On their UNTRUTHS.

Posted by Traci Mabats on 04/26/03 at 03:32 AM I think its very interesting the way you seem to put a philisophical edge into your poems. They pretty much make my head spin from it sometimes. |
Posted by Chris Sorrenti on 04/26/03 at 05:08 AM Evocative as always Ashok. Sheds new light, although darkly on the pigeon hole global village we all inhabit on this planet. |
Posted by Graeme Fielden on 04/29/03 at 04:23 PM is there ever a truth within a perception?... nicely formulated and stated Ashok. Your poems as always make us think... |

Posted by Mara Meade on 05/06/03 at 11:59 AM BRILLIANT, Ashok! Some of the best advice I was ever given was: "examine your assumptions. Then examine the assumptions behind your assumptions." Yeah, it takes some real seeking, but its astounding how much you begin to understand when you take the time to honestly look for the Truth. You've described this so well! |
